This book will be gracing the top of my coffee table soon. I'm so inspired for my short jaunt to Paris at the end of June. I'll be visiting a friend who lives in Paris. She'll be working during the day; so, I plan to pretend to be a Parisienne, comfortable wandering the streets and frequenting the cafes of Paris tout seule.

Shrimp with Asparagus
While asparagus isn't on the Low FODMAP diet, I was really craving something different than my four go to recipes. This was inspired by a recipe posted by Food & Wine's daily newsletter.
Shrimp with Asparagus Stirfry
Ingredients:
1 bag of raw shrimp (Trader Joe's), defrosted
1 bunch of asparagus (Trader Joe's), snapped into about 1 1/2 inch pieces
Grated ginger, about 1 tablespoon
Tamari soy sauce
Ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of garlic infused olive oil
Cooked rice
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Add the shrimp and cook until almost cooked through. Add the asparagus and cook until tender and the shrimp is cooked through. Add the grated ginger, soy sauce, and pepper. Cover and lower heat to simmer for a few minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
